Former San Ramon police officer pleads guilty to involvement in CNET scandal
Louis Lombardi, 39, pleaded guilty before a federal judge in Oakland this morning to four misdemeanor counts for stealing thousands of
dollars in cash and property during searches of suspects' homes and to five counts for possessing and selling drugs and stolen firearms while he worked on the Central Contra Costa County Narcotics Enforcement Team, or CNET. (Friday, 11:01 AM)
Business park 'plagued' by thefts
While auto burglaries are fairly common in San Ramon, employees at one office park have fallen victim to a rash of thefts from their cars and places of employment. Oversight committee 'confident' in its review of district's parcel tax
An independent citizens committee commissioned to provide oversight into the San Ramon Valley Unified School District's 2009 parcel tax has deemed that funds were used appropriately.
