Expect street closures for Friday's homecoming game
|
Motorists coming to downtown Danville Friday afternoon are being advised to prepare for possible delays as some streets will be temporarily closed during the San Ramon Valley High School homecoming parade.
Parts of Railroad Avenue, Hartz Avenue and San Ramon Valley Boulevard will be closed while the parade progresses from the high school through the downtown and back (map of closures is attached). Closures are expected to last from 2:35 to 3:10 p.m. Motorists are asked to exercise caution when driving downtown during this time as the parade will be passing through and there will be many pedestrians viewing the event as well.
On Friday night, the San Ramon Wolves will face off against Pleasanton's Foothill High School in the homecoming football game. Varsity and junior varsity will play at 7 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., respectively.
