You might review April Fools Day with Dolores. Over the years, I have shared the origin of this ancient French New Years celebration with her and the reasons some French were called fools for not observing the Christian Calendar.
So Happy New Year! Each year my new years celebrations start in September via the Jewish Calendar, to Halloween as ancient Celtic New Years, onward to Yule Tide as Norse new years, and Chinese New Years.
