Sheriff's office searches for missing girl in Diablo

Law enforcement officers are searching for a missing person believed to be in the area of Diablo.

Maddy Welsh, 16, is described as a white female, 5'6", weighing approximately 115 pounds. She has reddish hair and green eyes and may be on a grey and pink Trek 10-speed bicycle.

Anyone with information about Maddy is encouraged to call the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office at 646-2441.

Update:

Thankfully she was found without incident Wed. evening unharmed.
