High speed rail is a hotly contested issue among Californians, many of whom pit the cost of a system against environmental impacts. This week, Roving Reporter Stan Wharton went to a local barber shop to ask residents Is building a high speed rail system for California worth the cost?

I think the Iron Horse Trail and its existing right-of-way from San Jose to Martinez would be the ideal route for Gov. Brown's "Claim to Frame" HSR boondoggle.

Isn't there a way to route it right past Peace Lutheran Church?
