The Contra Costa County Sheriff conducted an air search for an at-risk subject involved in a domestic disturbance, according to reports.
At approximately 2:15 p.m. on Aug. 19, deputy sheriffs were dispatched to a home on 1600 block of Ridgewood Road in Alamo, said Jimmy Lee, director of public affairs for the County Sheriff.
"Because deputies had to search a 5-acre property for one of the subjects involved, a police helicopter and a police K-9 were utilized," he said.
Sheriffs used a loudspeaker to alert residents that they were looking for a white male, approximately 5'10" and 200 pounds. As the K-9 search began, the at-risk 23-year-old man appeared near Ridgewood Road and Lunada Lane.
The man was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
