Lanes of 680 cleared after ice cream truck crash
|
A Sig-alert has been canceled this morning on northbound Interstate Highway 680 in Walnut Creek after an ice cream truck overturned, leaving at least one person with minor injuries, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The CHP closed three out of four lanes on northbound Highway 680 after the truck overturned just north of Rudgear Road around 7:15 a.m., CHP
Officer James Evans said.
A red taxi was also involved in the crash.
The Sig-alert was canceled at 9:08 a.m.
Adding to the delay was an injury crash on northbound I-680 at Crow Canyon Road. The injury crash blocked two lanes around 8:30 a.m.
The accidents stopped traffic through much of the Valley and snarled the commute southbound travelers.
