Early risers will have the chance to breakfast with the mayor on Friday, Nov. 2. Held on the first Friday of each month at Father Nature's (172 E. Prospect Ave.), Mayor Newell Arnerich and other town officials meet with residents to discuss issues and concerns.

This month's program will focus on cultural arts, including the wide variety of visual and performing arts opportunities for residents. Recreation Supervisor Jane Laris, Visual Arts Coordinator Amy Miller and Performing Arts Coordinator David Lam will be on hand to discuss recently launched programs at the Village Theatre and Art Gallery, as well as special programs planned for the centennial celebration of the building.

Morning with the Mayor takes place from 7:30 a.m. -- 8:30 a.m. Those unable to attend can view a recording of the meeting online at the [www.danville.ca.gov town website.
