Driver in multi-car crash arrested for alleged DUI

Police arrested a driver in a reported multi-vehicle crash on interstate Highway 680 Walnut Creek late Sunday night on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatcher.

A three-car crash was reported at 11:25 p.m. on northbound Highway 680 at the North Treat Boulevard off-ramp in Walnut Creek, according to the CHP.

One driver involved in the crash was arrested a short time later for an alleged DUI.

No injuries were reported.
