Bookmark and Share
Officers are searching for two men who robbed a Walnut Creek Chevron gas station Monday morning, police said.

Walnut Creek police responded to an armed robbery at the station at 2329 N. Main St. at 5:27 a.m.

One of the suspects entered the gas station store and demanded money from the employee. Another suspect pulled out a handgun during the robbery, police said.

Both suspects were last seen walking south on N. Main Street towards N. California Boulevard.

Police arrived at the Chevron within minutes but the suspects had already fled.

A perimeter was set up and police used a K-9 unit to assist in the search, but it was unsuccessful.

The first suspect is described as a black man in his mid 20s with a thin build, between 5 foot 10 inches and 6 feet tall and was last seen
wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and black gloves, police said.

The second suspect was also described as a black man in his mid 20s with a thin build, standing between 5 foot 10 inches and 6 feet tall,
with long, braided black hair. He was last seen wearing a silver hooded sweatshirt, dark mask, black and white gloves, and he is armed with a
handgun, police said.

Anyone with information about the robbery is encouraged to call police at 943-5844.
