As for target shooting how many bullets do you need? After you practice at the range where are you going to use your asault and/or multi-round guns. If you do need these weapons how about a "locker" system at the range where you would leave these weapons until your next range visit.
Please compy to the type of guns, used by "well regulated militias", that existed when the 2 Amendment of the Constitution was written. I am a strict constitutionalist.
Give the rest of our citizens and believers of the 2 Amendment a break from the assault weapons and multi round guns.
I do not want all my neigbors arm to the teeth with assault type weapons. The chances of me getting shot either accidently or on purpose wold increase.
As for home invasion robberies where do the bullets stop. Will they accidently hit a pedstrian walking by your house or penetrate an innocent neighbors walls and kill them accidentally. Please leave law enforcement to law enforcement.
I want my 2nd Ammendment rights, but not at the expense of ever increasing sophisticated weapons. Do you get it?
Why are most law enforcement organiztations against assaut type weapons?
One answer is that it makes their job more dangerous.
How do so many of the criminals get these type of weapons?
One of many answer is through theft, out of state purchases, slipping through, or weak non-existent backgroud checks or through sales from non-regulated third parties on the after market.
Most harden criminals, not serial or spree killers, would not have the wherewithal to be able to purchase these type weapons through the good and legitmate gun dealers of our state.
What other reasons other then hunting and target shooting do we need assault type weapons? You say protecting your homee, I say a well armed police milita is the correct answer.
In summary I'am more fearful of getting shot accidently by an assault type weapon than being killed by a terrorist.
Please save my 2 Amendment rights and pass some limits on guns.
