What was the first car you owned?
Mine was a 1965 white mustang. I saw one for $17,000 today. I paid $500 or $600 for mine. My brother inherited it and he still has it. He shows it and goes to the Hot Summer Nights in Reno. Now my husband tells me, "Why did you ever give your brother that car?!" That was a lifetime ago.
It was a '29 Ford that I paid $25 for, but I'm an old man. I did logging work in the summer to pay for it. I progressed to a '47 Chevy by the time I started dating and, as a matter of fact, I'm still with the same woman.
It was a Datsun truck. My dad bought it for me to keep me off a motorcycle. I popped a wheelie on the motorcycle and the next day I had a truck. That was my first landscaping truck, now I own a landscaping company.

A 1936 Ford. That was a long time ago; it went for 200 bucks. I was working as a service agent at the time. It was a pretty good car until I wrecked it. I ran into another old car and destroyed them both. But I own a T-bird now.
My first car was a 1936 Ford sedan with a big trunk. It was a classy little car. It had a beautiful blue paint job and a nice interior. I had plenty of girlfriends and boy friends, too, because they all wanted to ride in it. I worked at a chicken farm; I fed and cleaned up after them to pay for it. That was when Petaluma was the chicken capital of the world.
