She said she arrived in her restaurant at 5:30 a.m. Friday morning and saw glass scattered all over her floor. She speculated the perpetrators may have been drunk, but she was not sure.
"I feel angry," Kelchner said. "It's disappointing this happens in our community."
Although residents enjoy having events in town, it is important to respect each other's property, she noted.
Police said they did not know who broke Pascal's window or the exact time the incident happened. The window damage is estimated to be $700.
Also the night of July 12, a little before 9 p.m., approximately 50 teens fought each other at the Chevron gas station on Hartz Avenue, said Danville Police Chief Chris Wenzel.
When Officer Bryant Williams arrived at the scene, the youths dispersed.
Police found one teenager involved in the fight who suffered injuries to the head after getting hit in the face a few times, he said. The teen refused to give much information about those who were involved in the fight and declined to get medical attention, Wenzel said.
