Danville Community Band tuning up for Father's Day concert
The Danville Community Band is presenting "That's Entertainment," a special Father's Day Concert, on June 15 at Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek. The 85-member, all-volunteer Danville Community Band is led by Dr. Lawrence E. Anderson and Robert Calonico, conductors.
The show will feature the virtuoso trumpet of Bill Lohman playing the exciting "Manhattan" and the vocal talents of Jodi and Chuck Aldredge. Also on the program are the "The Raider's March" from Indiana Jones, music from "Oliver," the Magic of Andrew Lloyd Weber, including "Evita," "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Phantom of the Opera" and "Cats," and more.
