Football frenzy Friday with crosstown competition

This Friday is the big Danville football game between crosstown rivals San Ramon Valley High and Monte Vista. Varsity kicks off at 7 p.m., at Monte Vista, as the teams fight for the trophy that has gone back and forth during the last few years.

Great to have a local cross town rivalry in Danville-Alamo-San Ramon area. The "City" school pitted against the "Three Country Club" school.

To quote Rodney Dangerfield, "Oh, you city slicker!"

I guess San Ramon Valley HS is in a SLIGHTLY more "city" environment than Monte Vista, but not by much....
