Expect downtown street closure Saturday

Motorists are advised to take an alternate route as Prospect Avenue will be closed between Hartz Avenue and Front Street from 9 a.m. through noon. The ceremony is set to begin at 10 a.m. in front of the Veterans Memorial Building.

It is encouraging to see that Danville residents will honor a fallen hero of our community. We should all be proud. The memorial will serve as a reminder that we are free because of those in our military. Thankyou and God Bless America.

Beautifully said Ann .. Not only will be honoring Chachi, but the ALL of those who have given their lives for our Country. I hope that everyone will come down to the Veteran's Hall and then on to the "Green" in front of the Library with the Corral Family to celebrate.
