Sledding to Hawaii

I usually write about San Ramon as the San Ramon Observer (pardon the typo in my User Name here), but this is a story of regional and even national interest.

Alex Mehran, Jr. single-handed his Open 50 sailboat from San Francisco to Hawaii in 8.5 days. Web Link

Regardless of what you think of the Mehrans, or Sunset Development, or Bishop Ranch, this young man did an incredible thing.
