Lazarex Cancer Foundation builds a bridge to hope, dignity and life for end stage cancer patients by providing financial assistance to help cover the costs associated with patient participation in FDA clinical trials. Additionally, they help patients navigate their clinical trial options and provide community education and outreach services. People can help support Lazarex fulfill their mission in many ways, they are truly a fantastic foundation.

Four young Bay Area locals will be running as a team in the Dodge Rock n’ Roll San Jose ˝ Marathon to help raise funds for the foundation. They are raising funds with “message balloons” that they will run with for the entire 13.1 mile race. In exchange for a $50 donation to Lazarex Cancer Foundation, a donor can send a message on the balloon(s) for a loved one lost to cancer, who is fighting cancer, or an inspirational message of any kind. The money donated will help Lazarex achieve their mission of providing resources for cancer patients who have been told they have no other options, but who are not yet done with their journey in life and refuse to give up now.
