VOTE YES on Measure C
Original post made by Community courtesy on Apr 15, 2009
It took no time at all to characterize the NO campaign as using funds specified for educational and facilities as some $11 million as reserves. The reality is that such funds identified by NO on Measure C advocates are in fact specified funding for educational and facilities purposes in 2009/2010. Those funds, properly allocated, are not sufficient to conduct all educational programs in 2009/2010.
Clearly, we all agree that SRVUSD must live within OUR means, but we should not confuse <$5 increase per month in parcel taxes as overwhelming to our community of voters. Let us focus on the reality and not the bank balances.
Your majority of neighbors ask that neighbors vote YES on Measure C.
