Breaking News: McNerney Votes for Obama-Care!
Original post made by Rick Pshaw on Oct 5, 2010
McNereny is a self- described moderate. I guess they whipped out a new definition of "moderate" when we weren't paying attention. It seems that in these days anyone who votes with Nancy Pelosi 97.2% of the time can call themselves a moderate.
He's not a moderate, folks. And if he's re-elected he'll prove it to you.

After exhaustive research, we discovered that Scott Nevil McNerney, so often referred to in repeating FORUM exchanges, is actually a cow-dancing instructor and part-time politician. He did vote for government mandated health care and other socially responsible programs.
The issue seems to be confusion of names and locations. Nevil, as his friends call him, is a resident and citizen of Latvia.
I hope that clears up this matter.

and guess what...no more bake sales and hopeful fundraisers for our fellow citizens in a new world of health care coverage when their child has a random disease....it might even happen to rikshaw god forbid...once again, the US and South Africa are the only industrialized nations without cradle to grave health care provided by a collective effort....someone needs to speak up against his callouse desire to bankrupt those that are randomly ill...

Thanks jrm. It never ceases to amaze me how "me focused" people can get when it is not their lives that are cut short because of our archaic health care system. My guess is that Rick P. and others like him haven't had a child with Down's Syndrome or any other "preexisting condition" known to bankrupt entire families over the course of a (sometimes all too short) lifetime. To watch your child struggle to survive while fighting for very limited health benefits while others have more coverage than they can ever use simply due to the luck of the (birth defect) draw is an abomination. That health insurance industry execs get fat off the backs of families who struggle so valiantly just to keep their kids alive (and that people like Rick P. believe their rhetoric about how the status quo is better for them) is criminal.
