Bookmark and Share
Additional mail-in ballots turned in to the Contra Costa County Clerk's office in the March 3 incorporation election in Alamo pushed voter turnout numbers up to 65.9 percent. Original figures released by Clerk Steve Weir's office showed turnout at around 59 percent; since then, an additional 751 votes were added to the tally.

Official poll results posted on the clerk's Web site showed a final vote of 4,456 Alamo residents (64.36 percent) voting against incorporation and 2,468 (35.64 percent) in favor.
