Calling attention to child abuse

In recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Day tomorrow, April 18, the Exchange Club of San Ramon Valley will be having a two-hour event in the Danville area. From 10 a.m.-noon, club members will pass out awareness information at Lunardi's in Danville, at the farmers market and at the Safeway in Blackhawk.

Personnel from the San Ramon Fire Protection District and the Danville Police Department will be there; children can be fingerprinted at the event.
