Guided walks begin through historic Danville

For a walking tour of historic downtown Danville, meet at 10 a.m. tomorrow, May 9, in front of the Museum of the San Ramon Valley, 205 Railroad Ave. An experienced docent will lead an informative stroll to numerous sites that played important roles in the town's history. Saturday morning tours take place on the second Saturday of each month through October.

A Friday evening walking tour will take place May 15, led by museum docent and Danville Councilwoman Karen Stepper. Friday evening tours, held on the third Friday of each month, begin in front of the Village Theatre, 233 Front St., at 6:15 p.m.
