Yankees play to the top

The Yankees prevailed in the June 8 championship game for the Tassajara Valley Little League AA American League, playing the A's in windy conditions. The Yankees staged a remarkable three run bottom of the sixth inning comeback rally and won the game 9-8.

Team members are Coach Mark Akabane, Coach Clint Taylor, Dennis Thompson, Chase Taylor, Richard Ressa, Connor Lynn, Matt Gyolai, Joe Major, Sean Clare, James Morizono, Arman Affifi, Brendan Hopkins, Jack Reed, Reyn Akabane and Stephen Thompson.
