Dance camp will raise funds for trip to Orange Bowl

The Dance 5 class at San Ramon Valley High School have been invited to take part in the halftime show of the Orange Bowl in January in Miami, Fla., and is holding a Dance Camp to raise funds for the trip.

The Dance Camp will be held from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 19, for elementary and middle school dancers. Cost is $60 per dancer, which includes three classes, T-shirt, snacks and a performance at the end of the day in the theater.

The high school's dance teams have placed in at least the top three in their competitions since 1986. The school is known at L.A. studios for its talented dancers with many continuing in dance at college, and as professionals in dance, television, video and movie careers.
