Rampage streaks to top of Surf

Mustang Rampage U16 Girls took the Surf Cup Title with their six wins, no ties and no loses. Rampage was strong throughout the field for its six-game winning streak. Its bracket consisted of two Regional Champions, and a top Southern California team. The Offense, led by Celeste Boureille, Briana Gaines and Sami Schrakamp, scored 13 goals in six games. The midfield, led by Cori Davis, Shannon Hennessy, Kylie Hill, Quinn McLaughlin, Cassidy Nicks, Brynne Terry and Allie Torru, controlled the middle of the field on the ground and in the air. And the defense, led by Madison Bickel, Regan Cox, Mandy Davis, Tiffany Geer, Jasmine Nickelberry and Kate Strazza was stellar throughout the tournament, limiting their opponents to scoring only four goals in six games with four shutouts. A key part of the defensive line were goalkeepers Dorsa Ansari and Abby Steele, who made several key saves throughout the tournament.
