First-year gymnast scores five medals

Sophia Kalliaras, age 10, a level 5 gymnast from Danville, took home five medals from the Gymnastics Judges Cup Meet held in Sacramento on Aug. 30: beam 8.65; bars 8.575; floor 8.275; vault 8.225; and, most importantly, second place for all around with a combined score of 33.7. This is her first year competing and her first competition of the year.
